FEELING OVER SOCIAL MEDIA? HERE'S HOW TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS WITHOUT IT
Let’s talk about the thing so many women in business are secretly feeling but not saying out loud: You’re tired of social media.
Tired of performing.
Tired of curating.
Tired of yelling into the void, hoping the algorithm throws you a crumb of reach in return.
Tired of the invisible pressure to be “on” — all the time — just to stay relevant.
If you’ve ever stared at your phone with that sinking feeling of ugh, I should post something, but your body says “nope,” this post is for you.
Because the truth is, for so many of us — especially the sensitive, soulful, introverted types — social media doesn’t feel good anymore.
And the idea that you have to rely on it to grow your business? That’s where the burnout begins.
“But it’s where all my clients find me…” Yep. Of course they do. Because that’s where you’re pouring most of your time and energy. And where your attention goes? Energy flows.
But here’s the question I want to gently offer you: What might happen if you poured some of that energy somewhere else?
Into places that feel more spacious. More sustainable. More you.
Because the reality is — people are finding you on socials right now not necessarily because it’s the best or only place to reach them… but because it’s where you’ve been showing up the most consistently. And that gets to shift.
FYI babe: You’re not doomed because you’ve fallen out of love with socials.
We’ve been sold the idea that “showing up” online = being glued to Instagram.
That connection = constant content creation.
That success = perfectly curated reels, hot takes, and a feed that looks like you live on Canva.
But here’s the thing most biz marketing experts won’t tell you: You can grow your business in a way that feels softer, slower, more spacious… and still wildly successful.
I’m not here to tell you to delete your accounts or disappear forever (unless you want to — in which case, go for it, queen). But if you’re craving less of the social media grind and more of the stuff that actually fuels your creativity and connection — I want you to know that it’s not only possible, it’s powerful.
I’m barely on social media these days… And while I don’t have a flashy “I quit Instagram and made a million dollars” story to share - what I can tell you is this:
Since stepping back from socials, things feel lighter. Quieter. More intentional.
I’m no longer stuck in the loop of comparison or constantly performing.
I’m creating from a deeper place.
I’m reconnecting with what actually feels good to share — not just what performs well.
And that shift? It's changed the way I do business. And how I feel in my business.
It’s not about disappearing altogether. It’s about choosing to show up differently — and deciding that your worth and your business don’t need to be validated by an algorithm.
Where to shift your energy (instead of socials)
There’s no single “right way” to do this — but there are so many beautiful alternatives that can grow your business and nourish your nervous system.
